Each year, students have the opportunity to apply for a scholarship and is then selected by a committee.  $200 is awarded to a Senior in each Diocese and $200 is awarded to an 8th Grader entering Catholic School in each Diocese.
  • .CDA Kid:
Children under the age of 12 years with special needs are selected in each Diocese each year.  Monetary assistance is forwarded to the chairperson in each Diocese.  This is to help with medical bills, transportation, or anything that is needed when the time arises.  Also prayers are offered to all CDA Kids.  This project was started in 1999.  National thought that this was a worthwhile project, that some states have adopted it and chooses a child on the state level.  In the fall of  2009, we invited the children and parents to join in our 10 year celebration with clowns, balloons, cake, hot dogs and games for them to play and also held a memorial service remembering our deceased CDA Kids.

Each year a new child is chosen in each diocese.  The regents of each court will receive nomination forms in the State newsletter.   The court will chose a child to be submitted to the chairman in each diocese and then the chairman along with her  committee will select a child.
